WHEN SHOULD I HIRE A FILMMAKER?

It is recommended to hire a wedding filmmaker as early as possible, ideally 24 months before the wedding date. This will ensure availability and give the filmmaker ample time to plan and prepare for the big day. However, I also accept bookings with as little as 3 months notice, but it's best to book early to avoid disappointment. As a professional filmmaker, I offer a limited number of commissions each year and therefore book out quickly, so don't hesitate to contact me if you want to ensure my services for your special day.

WILL YOU HAVE A 2ND FILMMAKER?

As a professional wedding filmmaker, I always bring an assistant to ensure that every aspect of your special day is captured. The length of time my assistant is present depends on the specifics of the wedding and can vary. Typically, I work with a team of two filmmakers for the entire day but in certain situations, such as intimate settings or unique circumstances, I may only need one assistant.

WHY HIRE A WEDDING FILMMAKER?

While photographs are beautiful and capture a moment, there is something truly special about being able to watch a video of your special day. The movement, the sound, and the ability to hear the voices of your loved ones all contribute to an entirely different experience. Video has the ability to truly capture the essence of the entire day, something that you may not fully appreciate until after the event has passed.

HOW DO I RESERVE YOU TODAY?

As a professional wedding filmmaker, I understand the importance of finding the right fit between myself and the couple. For this reason, I do not book any weddings until I have had the opportunity to speak with the couple over the phone. This initial conversation allows us to get to know each other and ensure that we are a good match. To reserve my services, a simple 10-15 minute call will be scheduled and I also require a reservation fee which will be applied to the final balance to secure your wedding date.

DO WE MEET AHEAD OF TIME?

I make it a priority to meet with my clients before their wedding day. Whether through in-person or virtual meetings, I like to take the time to understand all the details of the day and to help create a timeline that allows us to capture everything. This process not only helps me plan for the day, but also allows me to get to know you and understand your vision for your wedding film. I believe it's important to have a good communication and understanding before the big day to ensure the best outcome.

HOW DO PAYMENTS WORK?

To reserve my services, I require a reservation fee, which will be applied towards the final balance. The remaining balance will be broken up into payments leading up to the wedding day. In order to ensure that everything is taken care of, the full balance must be paid off 30 days prior to the wedding day. This allows me to focus on capturing your special day and not have to worry about any financial issues.

DO YOU HAVE INSURANCE?

I can assure you that I am fully insured and able to provide documentation if required by your venue. Your peace of mind and satisfaction is my top priority, so please let me know if your venue needs any proof of insurance and I will be more than happy to provide it.

WHY IS VIDEO SUCH AN INVESTMENT?

I understand that the cost of hiring a professional wedding videographer can be overwhelming. However, it's important to remember that you get what you pay for. While it may be tempting to hire someone who charges less, it's important to consider the quality of their work and their level of experience. I have continuously raised my prices as I have honed my craft, invested in the highest quality equipment, and continued my education to improve my skills. My couples see the value in the time and effort I put into the entire process, from start to finish. Remember, your wedding day is a once in a lifetime event and you want to trust someone who will do it right. I put my heart and soul into each and every wedding film I create, and my couples continue to express their gratitude even after the wedding day.
